How Svbtle

I’ve always been passionate about writing, and have a lot to say about it but have never had the time to develop a blog that presented my thoughts in a beautiful way. There are so many blogs out there, and so many different websites with people airing their thoughts, so when I saw Svbtle, I was blown away. It was something different. Not only is it visually appealing, all of the content is world class.

Currently, I’m a Network Engineer by day and a News Editor at Neowin.net by night. I’m hoping to, in the next few years, move into technology journalism full time but that will likely need to wait until I move to San Francisco in a few years.

I am too passionate for my own good, and gorge myself on information about technology I love, mostly related to mobile devices and the future of interaction with computers. Thanks to this, I’m somewhat addicted to getting my hands on the latest (and weirdest) smartphones and have personally owned in the last few months a HTC One X, an iPhone 4S, a Nokia N9 and various Windows Phone handsets.

Outside of technology, I’m obsessed with music and am constantly hunting for the next big thing. Naturally, I write about that too and run a music blog with my girlfriend because we can’t help but share what we’ve found (it needs work, but that’s coming in time).

It’s not really possible to explain how grateful I am to be part of a network full of talented, passionate bloggers who write the best content in the world. I have a lot to say on topics that often won’t fit into my work at Neowin, so it’ll be great to be able to air my opinions and hopefully generate discussion here. I’m excited about what’s to come.
